One year ago today, Microsoft’s redesigned Outlook.com came out of preview and rolled out to Hotmail users worldwide. Microsoft today revealed no.of small but useful improvements they made to Outlook.com on their blog. These improvements includes the updated UI for sweep to delete feature, Apply to all from.. in categories, Move all email from… in the Move feature, Search with improved Advanced search UI and archive specific emails you want and more. GoDaddy, the world’s largest domain registrar and web hosting company has announced a partnership with Microsoft to provide Office 365 solutions to its customers. Any small business that uses GoDaddy for domain registration and web hosting can sign up for Office 365 services such as email, Lync, cloud storage and even other Microsoft productivity solutions such as shared calendars and online conferencing under different plans. The pricing will start as low as $3.99 and it will increase depending on the services you need. “Every small business is looking for solutions in one place, so we want to be able to provide that,” said Irving in an interview. “Rather than go to a lot of different places to get these services, this is part of combining them together to make it easier for them.” GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving commented that GoDaddy will be providing customer service for the offerings. Microsoft today announced the upcoming release of Office 365 Message Encryption, a new service that lets you send encrypted emails to people outside your company. You can now send sensitive business communications with an additional level of protection against unauthorized access. Office 365 Message Encryption is the new version of Exchange Hosted Encryption (EHE) which includes all of the capabilities of EHE plus new features, such as the ability to apply your company’s branding to encrypted messages. Office 365 Message Encryption works with both Office 365 mailboxes and on-premises mailboxes. Office 365 Message Encryption will be available as part of Windows Azure Rights Management.
