At CES, popular Indian OEM Micromax has announced a new tablet called Canvas LapTab. The device will dual-boot Android Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1 OS. The tablet will sport a 10.1-inch 1,280 x 800 display, 2MP front and rear cameras, powered by Intel Celeron 1.46GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, 7400 mAh battery and 32GB of built-in storage. It also has Bluetooth v4.0 and expandable storage option. “The Intel-powered LapTab is the first dual-boot Windows and Android tablet. The device is aptly designed for multitasking across operating platforms and users would need to simply reboot the device and select the alternate option to switch from Windows to Android and vice versa,” Micromax said. The device is expected to go on sale early next month with a wireless keyboard. Micromax has not yet revealed the price of the device. via: Engadget ...
