NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group today announced that Microsoft’s Windows Azure Media Services is chosen to use to publish and stream all 98 events of the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, through Feb. 23. This involves managing more than 1,000 hours of streaming coverage across devices. Millions of users can access live and on-demand content by using NBCOlympics.com, free NBC Sports Live Extra app, available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows 8 and Windows RT devices.
