See the tweet above. We already know that Microsoft is going to reveal couple of Windows Phone devices Lumia 730 and Lumia 830 tomorrow. But this teaser doesn’t look like it is related to Lumia announcement. What other things Microsoft could announce at IFA? Last month, Microsoft China released chatbots named “Xiaobing” in Chinese which allowed WeChat users to have conversations like how Windows Phone users do with Cortana based on pre-stored data or Bing’s web search. Xiaobing also brings reminder, search, weather, horoscopes, travel, entertainment, food and drinks info to users via WeChat. However, Tencent (parent company of WeChat) banned Microsoft’s chatbots of WeChat citing privacy concerns that Xiaobing could leak details of private user conversations and hence “violating the platform’s regulations and harming the user experience.” Yesterday, Microsoft China announced that its chat robot Xiaobing has been revived on the Sina Weibo platform. Microsoft’s stock reached its highest price of $39.90 per share since 2000 yesterday. Thanks to the news regarding Office for iPad release. Office for the iPad has been rumored for many years now, but it appears Microsoft is finally ready to unveil the product later this month.  According to reports, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will himself demo the product marking his first major public appearance since becoming CEO. Yesterday, Microsoft sent out press invites for an event in San Fransisco on March 27th and Microsoft is expected to unveil Office for iPad on that day. It seems investors are too excited about this news that Microsoft is releasing Office for iPad. Office is already generating significant revenue for Microsoft and investors hope that releasing Office on new platforms should further increase Microsoft’s revenue.
