As expected, Toshiba today announced a new 8-inch tablet running full Windows 8.1 OS. The Encoee tablet will be powered by upcoming Intel Atom processor with InstantGo which allows longer battery life as well. Toshiba worked with Microsoft to make the tablet optimized for Windows 8.1. It also features Skype certified dual microphones for a best-in-class Skype experience. As Microsoft announced few months back, the device will include full version of Office Home & Student 2013, Xbox SmartGlass app, free streaming pass to Xbox Music, Norton Anti-Theft and more. Microsoft earlier revealed they sold 800,000 Xbox 360s on Black Friday, and have now revealed their total for the month, coming in at an amazing 1.7 million consoles, leading the console race for the 11th straight month in a row and the only current-generation console to sell more than one million units, and nearly double the second-place console. Xbox 360 unit sales grew 23 percent year over year in November, and spending on the Xbox ecosystem reached $1.4 billion, more than any other console. During the month of November, Xbox 360 held four of the top 10 console game titles including: “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,” “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations” and “Battlefield 3”.
