Sony’s PS4 dominated the Xbox One for the fourth month in a row. New numbers from NPD show Microsoft only sold 115,000 units of their Xbox One console for the month of April. These numbers do not specify if they are sales directly to consumers. Microsoft’s highly controversial decision to unbundle the Kinect from the Xbox One is beginning to make more sense. Sony’s lower price point continues to appeal to consumers. While Sony is selling the PS4 in more markets than the Xbox One, both companies have launched in the key major game markets. Last night, there were lots of tweets about Sony’s updated PS4 usage terms. People referred the below point listed there on Sony’s website. 7.1. You must not resell either Disc-based Software or Software Downloads, unless expressly authorised by us and, if the publisher is another company, additionally by the publisher. While the above terms may sound like Sony will not allow people to resell their games with others, it is not the case. The terms were always like this, even for PS3 it was the same. Sony has recently confirmed that their PlayStation 4 console will support Xbox-Kinect style voice recognition through their PlayStation Camera. Sony said that they will share more details on this shortly.  PS Camera is expected to support navigational voice commands to facial recognition similar to Kinect. Microsoft revealed during the announcement about Xbox One that you will be able to to play disc-based games while they’re installing to the Xbox hard drive. Microsoft has recently confirmed that the same applies for digital downloads too. You can start playing the game before it gets completed.
