Last year, TechCrunch reported that Microsoft is in talks to buy Osterhout Design Group for $200 million. While ODG’s current product lineup might not be a great fit within Microsoft’s overall company strategy, we then reported that their technology will help Microsoft to build new products like Fortaleza glasses. Osterhout Design Group also owns 140 patents related to wearable computing, so Microsoft can also benefit from it. Today, TechCrunch reported more information about this Microsoft’s deal with ODG. Last July, Microsoft gave us a preview of what to expect with reputation on Xbox One. On Xbox One, there are currently categories of player reputation score – “Green = Good Player,” being the large majority of our users, “Yellow = Needs Work” and “Red = Avoid Me.”  By default most gamers will be green or good player. Beginning this month gamers will start to receive notifications if their reputation starts to diminish. “Good Players” – The majority of gamers will fall into this level. Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that “Project Spark” beta program is extending onto Xbox One. Microsoft launched “Project Spark” Beta on Windows 8.1 devices in December 2013 and since then people are creating their old game worlds using this game’s revolutionary toolset. There were some reports that Xbox One controllers will not work with Windows PCs, but Microsoft’s director of product management Albert Penello ended those reports that Xbox One controller will work with Windows PCs for games. Penello commented the following on NeoGAF forums to answer the wrong reports, “This is 100% wrong,” “When the drivers become available, they will work with the existing controllers.
