Due to high pricing and few marketing issues, Microsoft let Sony achieve more sales success on this generation of consoles and they are now trying to reverse it. “There’s a few things I’d like us to achieve. If I take a long-term view, I want Xbox to play a role in bringing more people into gaming,” Eagle said. “I think it’s incumbent on those who make console platforms to ultimately grow the market. Speaking to Eurogamer, Microsoft’s ID@Xbox boss Chris Charla revealed that Microsoft has now enabled developers to submit trial games in Xbox One. In Xbox One, you already have game demos, but you have to download the full game again when you want to purchase it. In lots of developing nations where Internet speed and limit is an issue, this was an annoying thing. But now, that ‘trial’ experience where you could download a demo and then convert it to a full version is back in Xbox One just like it was during Xbox 360 days. But then, game developers should make use of this feature as the games which are already in Xbox Store won’t work this way. “But now we do. In the same way that we update the Xbox One OS every month, they update the development system every month – or regularly, anyway. So that’s something that we recently turned ...
