The Rhapsody app features Kinect gesture and voice command integration, which will make it easy to quickly find and play your favourite music, with radio, new releases, popular albums and member playlists. Major Nelson and Gear Box Software have just made a free Golden Key available for Borderlands 2 on the Xbox 360. The SHiFT code will only last a few hours, so it would be a good idea to use it pretty snappily. To redeem a code, select "Extras" on the main menu of Borderlands 2 and choose "SHiFT Codes" then follow the on-screen instructions. Microsoft is offering a free trial of Xbox Live Gold this weekend. The Gold subscription level is required to play multi-player console games, and access features such as Netflix and IE9 on Xbox 360. The free trial will be available from now till the 2nd December for players in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. Major Nelson has announced that an Xbox 360 update is being pushed out to consoles which brings a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. The update will correct such issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing. In Activision’s recent earnings call  CEO Bobby Kotick let slip an interesting titbit regarding next generation consoles in 2013. “We can’t really talk too much about next generation console plans, but I think it’s safe to say you have a Wii U coming out and there will be another new console coming and we expect that they’ll be very successful,” Kotick said. The Wii U will be coming out in 2012, and is at present not expected to set the world on fire, due disappointing performance and limited features, which only come close to current gen consoles released more than 7 years ago. More than two years ago Microsoft started allowing users to expand their device storage using a USB Flash drive. This was limited to 16 GB per drive however, irrespective of the size of the drive. Now in the latest Fall Dashboard update Microsoft has quietly enabled support for up to 32 GB of flash drive storage, with Microsoft saying: "Yes. The more our customers use their profile and download digital content, the larger the file size necessary to store that content and move it between consoles gets. Therefore we increased the size of the memory to enable our customers to take more of their Xbox profile with them on the go." Video game analyst site VGChartz have estimated that 3.1 million copies of Microsoft’s new edition of Halo have been sold in the first 24 hours, beating all previous versions. It is estimate than more than 4 million copies will be sold in the first week. The number is 15% up on Halo 3 and Halo 3:Reach, with 1.9 million copies believed to have been sold in the US alone. The game, 343 Industries’ first, has been very well received by critics, with some even calling it the best game of 2012, and was launched in part by having 10,000 stores open at midnight on the 8th November around the world.
