While it was reported that SyFy would fund a remake of 1970s British sci-fi series Blake’s 7 last year it never materialized. It commissioned 13 episodes of a new version of the space drama, but that deal seems to have been scrapped as Microsoft is now being linked with the show. The Financial Times claims that “people familiar with the situation” have revealed that the Redmond software giant is to pay for development and production of a new series as part of its push to add exclusive television programming to the Xbox Live platform. The Forza Horizons Rally expansion pack will bring 5 new rally-tuned cars, new stages and a new co-driver system for rally races. Xbox Live is pretty well known for their misogynistic teens but it seems this is a reputation Microsoft is less than proud of and intends to actively combat. According to GameStop UK Microsoft is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against users who make sexist or derogatory comments on Xbox Live. "It can be dangerous to give adolescents a broadcast mechanism," said Kiki Wolfkill, the executive producer of Halo 4. "There are always going to be jerks out there, and if you give them a way to express that side of their personality without being seen, you’re going to see this type of behaviour manifest itself." The free gift is however not being well received, due to the paltry amount (20 Microsoft points is only worth around $0.25) and due to the numerous conditions attached. Only gamers with Gamerscore over 3000 qualify for the gift, and users will have to wait till the 15th of the month to actually receive the Points. Users with a Gamerscore above 10,000 get a rebate of one percent for every Xbox LIVE purchase and gamers with a Gamerscore above 25,000 will be a two percent rebate credited to their Xbox account. Microsoft today announced few changes to Xbox LIVE Indie game developer story. Microsoft has increased the game size, per developer game count and updated pricing structure. Developers are now able to submit CCGAME bundles up to 500MB through App Hub for publishing on Xbox LIVE Indie Games. Developers can apply the 80 point price to any game with a CCGAME size under 150MB, which is three times the current limit of 50MB. Raising the limit up to twenty titles per developer.
