Last week we reported that Forza Horizon 2 is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in September. At E3 today, Microsoft revealed more details about the game. The aforementioned off-roading is just one of the many new features gamers can expect from “Forza Horizon 2,” but the ability to crash through fences, plow through forests and cornfields, and even find secret cars hidden in barns is certainly one of the coolest features at play here. At E3 today, Microsoft revealed the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This is a remastered compilation of its classic Halo games in a unified UI for Xbox One later this year. This will go on sale for $59.99 on Nov. 11. This collection will include Halo 1, Halo 2 in 1080p, Halo 3 and Halo 4, with 100 multiplayer maps running in high-definition 1080p video at 60 frames per second on dedicated servers. Microsoft last week announced that they are releasing an updated Xbox One SDK for developers this month which will give developers access to more GPU bandwidth, so enabling more performance for their games. Also there are new tools and flexibility to make games better. During the launch of Xbox One, Microsoft said that they are reserving about 10% of the GPU for Kinect and other system process. But this update for SDK is making it possible for developers to access additional GPU resources previously reserved for Kinect and system functions. Sunset Overdrive game was announced during E3 2013 during Microsoft keynote as a Xbox One exclusive. Sunset Overdrive is an always changing, open-world shooter set in the not-so-distant future. Microsoft originally announced Kinect as Project Natal at E3 few years back. It was an add-on accessory for Xbox 360 that allowed users to enjoy motion sensing games. It went on to become a smash hit by becoming the fastest selling electronic accessory ever. Later, Microsoft released Kinect for Windows to allow community and other developers take advantage of this amazing sensor and the Kinect SDK for purposes other than gaming.
