    And so it begins…
What I don’t understand is the slow release of the RT version. Normally OEM’s need to update their drivers etc. but this time Microsoft is the OEM. I think it could be launched earlier.

They will probably wait for Nokia to finish work with their RT tablet. Based on last year, they waited for their OEMs to do their thing. But since nothing was happening much, they went ahead. I personally believe MS is giving Nokia a helping hand with this RT tablet.

Microsoft needs to launch it A.S.P.A. to create a higher demand, Windows 8.1 (Blue) has been generally praised, despite all the hate towards Windows R.T. and not to mention that the Xbox One is the most hated thing on the internet, Windows 8.1 (Blue) is actually becoming a pillar of positivity, the sooner it comes, the more it can boost sales.

Around 120 Microsoft updates to Windows 8 thus far. My test W8.1 tryout has a whole bundle of them already also.

The only reason to run W8 instead of W7 is if you dont really need to know what you are doing inside your PC.

Anyway; WHY is the price a secret?

Are they afraid of the chortles; and any drift off to install FREE Lunux and the like?
