Microsoft Hardware today announced a new contest with a new website called Art of Touch which allows people to create their own digital art. Microsoft will be giving away prizes such as Microsoft Touch mice, laptops and other things like having a person’s artwork showcased somewhere in a weekly drawing. The person whose artwork has the most votes by December 31st will get the grand prize of being the “featured artists” and a prize package that includes becoming a featured artist on the site.
About Art of Touch,
The Art of Touch palette allows you to create artwork on an interactive digital canvas using the technology at your fingertips, and contribute to an evolving global masterpiece that is showcased on the main page of the Art of Touch website. Choose from three digital brushes combined with five digital effects to create one-of-a-kind designs and patterns.
Once you have created your online masterpiece, submit and share your digital artwork through Facebook and Twitter. Have your friends vote on your artwork and share it with their friends too, because the artist with the most votes by Dec. 31 will earn the title of “featured artist” on the Art of Touch website, and will receive a grand prize package that includes personalized mice featuring the winning design! In addition, continue to save and submit new art for the weekly raffle — each vote counts as one raffle ticket for a chance to win PCs, mice and other great prizes!
The site will perform well on Internet Explorer 9 using the hardware acceleration. Check it out here,
