Vimeo, one of the famous video sharing site on the web has released their Windows 8 app in Windows Store. One strange thing is that, there are several identical Vimeo apps differentiated only be their names. There are apps such as Vimeo for Samsung, Vimeo for Dell, etc,.

    Yeah, the different apps for Vimeo is kind of weird. I got the one “for Samsung” as I’m using a series 7 slate, but I really don’t know if there’s a difference. Excellent app, Though.

    I’ve never used Vimeo, why is it better than youtube? I always go to youtube for all video related stuff.

      The difference between YouTube and Vimeo is similar to the difference between Blogger and WordPress. Basically more amateur stuff go on YouTube as opposed to more professional creatives that gravitate to Vimeo. They are both good.

    why cant i download it on my lumia 920? it says not available for your phone :(
