W8: A look at the Firefox Metro nightly (video)

imageWinsource has posted this video preview of the Firefox Metro nightly, Mozilla’s Modern-style browser for Windows 8.

The software is still pretty buggy as one can expect, and in part does not really reflect the Modern UI, in the preview especially in the UI around the tabs.

If you want to help Microsoft avoid anti-trust charges for IE10 in Windows 8, you can download Firefox Metro nightlies here.

i thought that Microsoft was only putting Internet Explorer in the Windows 8 marketplace. Guess they changed it. Please get Chome here haha

This isn’t, as of right now, a Windows Store app. It just has a full-screen app mode like IE does. It only works on x86 processors. Chrome does the same thing on the current build if you set it as the default browser.

I’ll stick with IE10 thanks, but hey choice is good.

    I’m using it.
FF has it all but Crome and IE too.
Last days FF updated to v15.x by it’s own and after that on every flash page FF just dies. No exceptions.

Since then I am using IE and Crome and I REALIZED why I do not use IE any more… it’s the damn “blue e” Icon.
