On the Windows Team Blog Microsoft has announced that pre-orders for Windows 8 Pro on DVD is now available for $69.99 USD ERP* (U.S.) at select retailers, including Amazon.com, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot and the Microsoft Store and many more.
They also announced that upgrades via download will be available on the 26th October for $39.99 USD ERP. The downloads will be available in 140 countries worldwide, with 37 languages, and 23 supported currencies. The limited time upgrade offer will only be available until January 31st, 2013..
Those who purchase (or have purchased) an eligible Windows 7 PC anytime between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013 will be able to purchase an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for only $14.99 USD ERP** (U.S.) which will be redeemable starting October 26th.
Lastly Windows 8 PC’s can now be pre-ordered for delivery by the 26th.
