Windows 8 RTM In First Week Of August And General Availability In October

Microsoft today announced that Windows 8 will be RTM in first week of August and the general availability of Windows 8 for consumers in October. Tami Reller, SVP of Windows & Windows Live Division today announced at WPC that Windows 8 is on track and will hit the milestones at correct time period. She also mentioned that that Windows 8 will be available in 109 languages across 231 markets worldwide. Also with RTM in August, Microsoft is opening up its commerce platform so that developers can start earning money for their apps.
